Welcome to the Marist Brothers’ “virtual” Development Office! We’d like to introduce ourselves.
We began development and fundraising for the Brothers in 1989. Twenty years later, we realize this is more than a “job,” it is our ministry.
Over these many years we have met with, spoken to and written to thousands of people whose lives have been influenced by the Marist Brothers. We have heard inspirational stories, have witnessed first-hand the quality of academic and religious education in our schools, have participated in the programs for youth and adults directed by many of our Brothers outside of the traditional classroom. We have observed our elderly Brothers, though no longer able to be in the classroom, volunteering their time and talents in an unselfish manner.
We genuinely believe that the world is a better place because of the Marist Brothers and their ministries. This belief inspires us to continue our fundraising efforts year after year with courage and conviction.
We present the Brothers’ needs and special works to our friends and alumni in order to attract the financial, prayerful and human resources needed to accomplish the Marist Brothers’ mission to youth in the Catholic Church.
