Adult Formation Programs

 

Within their religious communities, the Marist Brothers create a sense of family, which carries over into the schools and other work environments. But how do we help others develop a similar sense of community? The Brothers set out to answer this question in their program, “Sharing Our Call,” which introduces teachers and administrators to St. Marcellin Champagnat and Marist heritage. In follow-up programs such as “Sharing Our Call 2” and  “Embracing Our Call,” teachers and administrators explore the role that Marist spirituality plays in the life of Marist Educators. A third program, “Sharing Our Mission” has two components: one for members of campus ministry and religion departments and one for coaches and athletic directors. The goal of all our adult formation programs is to insure that a Marist vision and pedagogy is present in every aspect of a Marist school.
