Br. Peter Guadalupe entered the Marist Brothers Novitiate in 1968 and professed his first vows in 1969. After completing a BA in Spanish at St. Xavier University in 1973, he began his teaching career at Marist High School in Chicago. He also served as a teacher and councilor at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA (1976-82), at St. Bernard High School in Oakland, CA (1983-88), at St. Elizabeth High School in Oakland, CA (1988 – 94), at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, FL (1994-96 and 2005-2016), at St. Joseph Academy in Brownsville, TX (1996-05) and at Mt. St. Michael Academy (2017-present). He also served as a Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Berkeley, CA as well as part of the Marist Brothers Formation staff.

He earned an MA in Pastoral Ministry from University of San Francisco in 1991 and professed his Final Vows in 1978.
