70th Jubilee as a Marist Brother
Br. Gene Trzecieski entered the Marist Juniorate in Esopus, NY in 1944. After his postulancy year, he entered the Marist Novitiate in 1947. He professed his first vows on July 26, 1948. After completing a BA in math at Marist College, he began his teaching career at St. Ann’s Academy and Archbishop Molloy High School in NY. He professed his Final vows on June 30th 1953 and the vow of Stability in 1965. He earned an MA in Latin & Greek from Hunter College in 1961 and served as the Master of Novices in Esopus, NY from 1965-68. Since 1968, he has been an inspirational teacher and member of the Christopher Columbus High School Community in Miami, Fl.
