GUADALUPE REGIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL FACULTY RETREAT

The faculty and staff of Guadalupe Regional Middle School in Brownsville, TX will have the opportunity to have three retreats this year, each one done by one of their sponsoring congregations. The first was the Marist Brothers given by Maureen Hagan, Director of Adult Formation for the USA Province.

The group gathered on Saturday, November 2nd in a nearby home. The morning was spent in prayer, reflection, and sharing on stories from our Marist tradition, how those stories tie into the Guadalupe school story, and on each of the five pillars of Marist life. The teachers and staff were appreciative of the quiet time and of the bonding they felt as a result of the discussions and sharing.

Thank you to Dr. Virginia Miller, Principal of the school, for the invitation to share our Marist charism with GRMS. The Christian Brothers and the Sisters of the Incarnate Word will have their retreats later in the year.
