Marist Youth Encounter

January 2019

 

 

The last weekend of January saw students from Monsignor Pace High School (Miami, FL), Roselle Catholic High School (Roselle, NJ), St. Joseph Regional High School (Montvale, NJ), Mount Saint Michael Academy (Bronx, NY), and St. Mary’s High School (Manhasset, NY) travelling to the Marist Brothers Center in Esopus for a Marist Youth Encounter Christ Retreat.

 

 

Through talks, discussion groups, music, liturgy, reconciliation, and many opportunities to meet and grow together, students left the retreat with a renewed sense of what it means to be in a relationship with Jesus and one another.

 

 

A Huge Shoutout to the team of Marist Young Adults who spent the weekend organizing and running the Encounter Retreat, as well as Mr. Matt Fallon, Province Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
